Welcome to the Jan Benham School of Holistic Studies and
the Institute of Aromatherapy

Through courses in Aromatherapy, Skin Care, Nutrition, Reflexology, Qi Stone Massage and Thai Yoga Massage, we invite you to discover the natural world of holistic health therapies.

This year the school celebrates 25 years of service. We are GST exempt, reflecting our status as a Federal Vocational School recognized by Human Resources Development Canada and Second Career. At the Institute of Aromatherapy, we have expanded over the years to include many different healing modalities to such an extent that Aromatherapy is now only a small part of what the Institute teaches. The expanded title reflects our growth in the healing industry and offers a chance for students to change and transform themselves, in both their personal and professional lives.

As a result of our expansion, there are some exciting new workshops coming up including Beautiful feet, Crystal healing, Booty beauty, ABsolutely FABulous ABS, Luscious legs, Go for the Glow Facial Care. Neck and Shoulder Release, Fruit facials and Homeopathy.

Currently our most popular course is the certified natural health practitioner program. This program offers courses in both holistic and energetic studies: Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Holistic Skin Care, Reiki, Polarity Therapy, Thai Yoga Massage, Crystal Healing, Clinical Nutrition, Relaxation/Meditation techniques to name just a few. It can be taken as a part time two year program or on a one year full time basis.
