Thai Yoga Massage I & II ~ Each is a One Week Course
Level I ~ SUBJECT
Thai Massage is an ancient healing art form that originated in India over 2,500 years ago. It is a holistic therapy that addresses the entire person, soothing and healing the body, the mind and the spirit. Many call it "Yoga for lazy people" since complex stretches are used. It has properties of Yoga, Shiatsu, Reflexology and Accupressure - all rolled into a flowing form. Pressure points are stimulated along energy lines throughout the body. Blockages are released and energy flows much more freely, resulting in profound physical and emotional changes. The recipient feels relaxed, energized and revitalized. Students will learn how to perform a full massage in the Northern Traditional Thai Massage style. Positions learned are: supine and sitting.
